What to expect on Saturday…

A large crowd will gather at the marina on Saturday for the 40th Annual North Carolina Holiday Flotilla lighted boat parade and we’ve made extra preparations to accommodate our customers! While our docks are full and we’re not able to accommodate any more launches, we will have a special section with the best views fenced off for our customers. You’re welcome to bring chairs, and we’ll have a few tables and chairs setup as well. Additionally, our parking lot will be available for our customers only and an attendant will be in place. Read below for more details on the evening!

For safety, only customers whose boats are launched will be allowed on the docks, along with the official judges for the lighted boat parade. Customers with boats in the water are asked to enjoy the flotilla and fireworks from their boats, leaving the docks clear for safety. Please, no congregating on the docks.

KEEL STREET CLOSED

To keep the area safer, Keel Street will be closed to vehicle traffic. Our parking lot will be monitored by our staff and available only to Atlantic Marine customers. When the Town of Wrightsville Beach closes Keel Street on Saturday afternoon, customers coming to the marina should turn in front of Redix and go around by Bluewater to access our parking lot. We recommend arriving by 5:00pm due to expected heavy traffic.

2 BROS COASTAL CUISINE FOOD TRUCK

Christie and Mike will be serving wraps, sandwiches, fries and more from 4:30pm until 6:30pm at our marina, 101 Keel Street, Wrightsville Beach. Come down early and grab a bite before the lighted boat parade kicks off and reaches the marina.

DOCK HOUSE OPEN DURING FLOTILLA

For the comfort of our customers and their guests, our dock house will be open Saturday evening to purchase drinks and snacks. We’re bringing in extra restroom facilities to accommodate the crowd we’re expecting.

PARADE ROUTE

The lighted boat parade route will proceed south on the ICW passing under the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge, turning east through Motts Channel, passing by Atlantic Marine where the OFFICIAL JUDGING will take place! Then the route will take a northward turn entering Banks Channel, which will take the fleet down the entire length of Banks Channel to the Coast Guard Station near Masonboro Inlet.
