For many years, Atlantic Marine has supported UNCW through planned giving. Fall 2022 was our first joint event with the Center for Marine Science and it was a hit among our Grady Club members. This year, along with members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, we have been invited back to learn more about the Center for Marine Science, tour their oyster hatchery and enjoy those oysters!
On Thursday, February 1, at 5:30pm, Grady Club members are invited to join us for an Oyster Roast at the Center for Marine Science in Wilmington. Hear from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary on their community involvement, tour the shellfish hatchery, hear from Dr. Ami Wilbur, Director, UNCW Shellfish Research Hatchery, enjoy fresh, local oysters, and a cold beverage!
Registration is REQUIRED. We will be collecting a $50 reservation fee to confirm your attendance. This will be donated back to the UNCW Center for Marine Science on behalf of the Cape Fear Grady Club. Club members will attend this event by car.
